I am SO excited to share that Trevor Roman will be visiting PES on March 21st for a special assembly with our students! Trevor Roman is a nationally recognized speaker who has developed programs, books, videos, and other instructional materials for educators on a variety of topics such as deployment, grief and loss, and bullying. I feel Trevor Roman has been a wonderful advocate for military children and I am so very excited to hear him speak to our students in March! I am sure it will be a fun and exciting day for all!
Happy Birthday to Mrs. Musgrove! Instead of presents this year, she asked for donations from her friends and family to the PES CHEW program. This is just a portion of the donations she got!.
My lesson for February in 1st grade focuses on Friendship! We are reading 'Friendship is an Art!' and discussing the qualities of a good friend and learning that have friends, we have to be a good friend!
The staff at PES came together again today to help support our CHEW program! Once a month staff members can wear jeans for a donation to our program. This month we collected cans of chef boyardee! As you can see we had quite a few other donations from staff and their families as well. If you are able to donate or know of a group who would be willing to please visit the CHEW tab on my website for a complete list of items we use in our CHEW backpack program. We currently send food home with 22 students every weekend at PES. Thank you for your continued support PES families and staff!!!
