During the month of January 4th and 5th grade students completed an interest survey to learn more about themselves and how their interests might help them think of different jobs they might like to explore as they get older! Third grade students had fun reading about "Wilma Jean, the Worry Machine" and letting go of their worries during their very own snowball fight in the guidance room! Second grade continued with our Froggy and Friends puppet series and this month Froggy learned about showing consideration and we brainstormed ideas of how we too can show consideration at home and school. First grade read "Tattle Tongue" and worked in groups to problem solve whether different situations were tattling or reporting. Finally, Kindergarten read 'When I Grow Up' and we had fun drawing pictures and guessing what our friends wanted to be when they grow up! It was a busy month in guidance class and we look forward to next month!
